PROTECT YOUR LIVER

Proper functioning of the liver is a very important aspect of a healthy body. It is imperative that we adopt a healthy lifestyle and eating habits to this effect. Even more important is the fact that we understand our body’s time-table and function accordingly. The schedule of our body goes thus:

Night 9 – 11 PM
This is the time for detoxification of the antibody system (lymph nodes). So ideally, this time should be spent by relaxing in what ever ways you can. Doing your daily chores or work at this time, can have a negative impact on your health.

11 PM – 1 AM
Detoxification of the liver takes place at this time. ideally, this should occur in a state of deep sleep. So try not to keep unearthly hours and damage your liver.

1 AM – 3 AM
At this time, the detoxification process takes place in the gall bladder. This should also be done in a deep sleep state.

3 AM – 5 AM
Detoxification process of the lungs takes place at this time. That may be the reason why severe cough racks cough-sufferers at this time. This is an indication that the detoxification process has reached the respiratory tract.

5 AM – 7 AM
The ideal time to empty your bowels, as the detoxification process takes place in the colon.

7 AM – 9 AM
This is the time when nutrients are absorbed in the small intestine.. a perfect time to be having your breakfast.

So, do take care of your body and your body will take care of you…
Have a great life!!

BRAIN DAMAGING HABITS

Want to protect your brain from damage? Here are a few habits that can prove detrimental to your brain, if remained unchecked.

Skipping breakfast:

Breakfast is the most important meal of the day. Skipping it lowers the blood sugar in our body. This results in insufficient supply of nutrients to the brain, which apparently leads to brain degeneration.
High sugar consumption:

Eating too many sweets interrupts the absorption of proteins and nutrients in our body. This causes malnutrition which leads to poor brain development.
Smoking:

This is a well-publicized vice, which has devastating effects. Smoking results in multiple brain shrinkage, which leads to the dreaded Alzheimer’s disease.
Overeating:

This leads to hardening of the brain arteries, which causes a reduction in mental faculty.
Air pollution:

Breathing in of polluted air lessens oxygen supply to the brain, and brings about a decrease in brain efficiency.
Sleep deprivation:

Not getting enough sleep leads to the death of brain cells gradually.
Covering head while sleeping:

This increases the concentration of carbon dioxide and decreases the concentration of oxygen, which may lead to brain damage.
Lack of stimulating thoughts:

It is an accepted fact that the best way to train our brain is by thinking stimulating thoughts, the absence of which may lead to brain shrinkage.
